Welcome
to the PPI High School Outreach Site
Our goal is
to use modern technology to help give high schools students an
up-close and personal look into our research. We are developing
a series of personal, interactive laboratory experiments that
will allow both students and teachers to gain insight into the
mechanisms plant parasites use to take over host cells and how
these mechanisms apply to our research. To complement the labs,
we will provide message boards, interviews with PPI researchers,
and helpful links. Students that complete our program will have
a much more in-depth understanding of plant bacteriology and virology
and will have a good idea what PPI hopes to achieve.
